The Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6 pre-orders start later tonight and Rockstar Games has shared more details about the long-awaited game and what you can expect. The biggest news around GTA 6 price has also been revealed along with the goodies that you get with the special editions of the game.
GTA 6 will be available from November 19 for those pre-ordering but the developer has decided to twist the launch strategy for the new GTA edition by making it disc-free and trying to stop you from possibly sharing the game with others

GTA 6 pre-orders start June 25 midnight in the US region and Rockstar Games is going charge the following for the GTA 6 editions
- GTA 6 Standard Edition PS 5/Xbox One S/X – $79.99 (Rs 7,519 approx)
- GTA 6 Ultimate Edition PS 5/ Xbox One S/X – $99.99 (Rs 9,399 approx)
Since then, many gamers in India have posted the GTA 6 price details available to them via Sony and Microsoft’s digital stores.
- GTA 6 Standard Edition – Rs 5,999
- GTA 6 Ultimate Edition – Rs 7,499
Many expected GTA 6 India launch price to be a lot higher but these have come as a surprise, even though that is a lot to pay for a console game title.
GTA 6 goes disc-free, even with physical version: What it means
Rockstar Games sharing the GTA 6 pre-order detail has come with some not-so-good news for the gamers. The company has said that the GTA 6 physical version that should ideally have a disc in the box, will actually come disc-less.
Instead you will get a digital code which will be offered for one-time use, so that you don’t share it with anyone else. This effectively makes the GTA 6 physical version, a digital version.
There is a lot of intrigue and displeasure on social media since the news about GTA 6 going fully digital came out a few hours back.
Some are even not sure why the developer is running pre-orders for GTA 6 in the digital avatar when the box will come without a disc, which many GTA fans go to the stores on the launch night and pick it up on day one.
